Trekking in Baltistan :

The Northern Part of Pakistan is the meeting point of four of the world's greatest mountain ranges. Where the Region of Baltistan is blessed four peaks above 8000 meters including K-2 the second highest in the world. The area is replete with the world's most breathtaking valleys, lakes, passes and glaciers. K-2 Gondogoro La Trek  

an adventure that you have been dreaming of

This trek through Baltoro, Godwin Austin and Vigne glaciers and over the Gondogoro Pass is the most popular trekking route in Pakistan. The area is clustered by eight of the world's thirty highest peaks at a distance of about 25 kilometers are providing perhaps the greatest mountain scenery in the world. The panoramic Gondogoro Pass gives stunning views of central Karakoram mountains and glaciers including the four of the 8000m peaks in the region. 

From Skardu, the gateway to mighty mountains and glaciers, a seven-hour jeep ride takes us to Askoli, the last inhabited settlement on our way. The trek begins and within a week we will to reach Concordia, the meeting point of great mountains and glaciers. We spend two days at Concordia with the option of trek up to the base camps of K-2, Broad Peak, and the Gasherbrums peaks. The return trek takes us over the 5755m Gandoghoro Pass, to the Hushe Village to get back to Skardu.

Biafo Hisper Trek

Biafo and Hisper glaciers combine together 122km forms the world's longest glacier outside the polar region. Coiling out from snow-lake, smooth glaciers, and writhe between nameless and unclimbed peaks stretches away as far as the eye can see. Snow Lake gives a feeling of a vast snowy space without a hint of vegetation.

After seven hours jeep journey from Skardu the trek will begin at Askole, following the K2 trek for a short way, the trek turn to left into Biafo Glacier, you immediately find yourself in a wild and rarely traveled place. 

This 122 km ice corridor trek from Askoli to Hisper over the dancing rocks, stepping over crevasses, viewing stunning mountains, crossing splashing streams, camping at the lateral moraines full of flora and fauna; crossing the 5150m Hisper Pass and four major side glaciers, we will end up the trek at Hisper village, the first permanent settlement after leaving Askoli in 12 days.

Mashabrum Valley

This package is a blend of valleys and multi activities: trekking and climbing. We have chosen two sub-valleys of the great Mashabrum valley which is guarded by the 7823 meters high Mashabrum Peak.

A seven hours jeep drive take you to Hushe, situated at the south of the great-glaciated region of Baltoro and the gateway to southern valleys of the Karakoram wall. The four main valleys: the Mashabrum, Aling, Saraksa and Gondogoro offers superb treks in the summer settlements to base camps of great peaks. We have chosen the Saraksa and Gondogoro valley trek for its shortest opportunity to have panoramic views of the central Karakoram mountains and glaciers comprising K-2 (8611m), Gashabrum I (8064m), Broad Peak (8047m) and close up to K-6 and K-7.

Trekking and Rock Climbing in Open Zone

Nangma Valley

From the village of Kandi the two rarely visited valleys with savage beauty: the Nangma and Bondid offers great eco tours and rock climbing options in short time and for all age groups. The Nangma Valley in the east, with enormous 1000-metre cliffs and rock towers surrounded the Nangma summer settlement can describe the haven for rock lovers..

For those who want optional rock climbing during trek this program gives unmatched opportunities to scale rock-pinnacles of below 6000 meters. The Amin Brak (5850 mts) which is now a popular rock-climbing peak.  All other peaks are comparatively easier climb of six to eight hours. Basic fitness and climbing equipments are essential.
