This trek through Baltoro, Godwin Austin and Vigne glaciers and over the
Gondogoro Pass is the most popular trekking route in Pakistan. The area is
clustered by eight of the world's thirty highest peaks at a distance of
about 25 kilometers are
providing perhaps the greatest mountain scenery in the world. The
panoramic Gondogoro Pass gives stunning views of central Karakoram
mountains and glaciers including the four of the 8000m
peaks in the region.
Biafo and Hisper glaciers combine together 122km forms the world's longest
glacier outside the polar region. Coiling out from snow-lake, smooth
glaciers, and writhe between nameless and unclimbed peaks stretches away
as far as the eye can see. Snow Lake gives a feeling of a vast snowy space
without a hint of vegetation.

We have chosen the Saraksa and Gondogoro valley trek for its shortest opportunity to have panoramic views of the central Karakoram mountains and glaciers comprising K-2 (8611m), Gashabrum I (8064m), Broad Peak (8047m) and close up to K-6 and K-7.
